09:00hs Lima City tour: Main Square, Santo Domingo Convent & Larco Museum
At the scheduled time, we will pick you up at the hotel to begin a tour of the city's main avenues, boulevards, and squares. The tour will begin with an exploration of Colonial Lima. First, we will stop off at the Main Square; to get a chance to explore the square on foot and admire the exteriors of the Government Palace, the Cathedral of Lima, and the City Hall, all examples of Lima's still-present colonial architectural opulence.

Next, we will make our way to Santo Domingo Convent a religious and architectural gem that houses holy paintings, images, and relics of Peruvian saints, as well as written accounts of the endeavors of the Dominican Order across the country.

Finally, we will head to the Pueblo Libre District and visit the Larco Museum, an eighteenth-century Viceregal mansion that houses more than 3,000 years of Peru's pre-Columbian history. The museum boasts a supremely fine collection of gold and silver jewelry and worship paraphernalia that demonstrates the superb skill of ancient Peruvian gold and silversmiths. The Larco Museum also contains a famous collection of erotic ceramic tomb art that gives insights into various aspects of pre-Columbian sexuality.

TUE 12 LIMA / AREQUIPA

• 14:00hs Arequipa City Tour & Museo de Santuarios Andinos (Andean Sanctuaries Museum)
We will begin the tour discovering San Lazaro, the most traditional neighborhood in Arequipa, we will continue the tour with a visit to Compañia de Jesus Church. With its imposing size and fascinating appearance, this magnificent church will take your breath away. Be sure to pay special attention to the Baroque façade and the amazing sacristy, meticulously decorated with vividly-colored murals. After finishing your tour of the church, you will move on to the Mirador del Carmen (a natural lookout point), ten minutes from the city center. From there you will be able to enjoy a spectacular view of the Chili River Valley and of the majestic Misti. Next, we will stop off in the upscale neighborhood of Yanahuara and get a chance to walk along its wide cobblestone avenues and see its old ashlar stone mansions, which still preserve their traditional gardens. You will also be able to admire a beautiful church constructed in 1750 and a quaint plaza with a gorgeous ashlar stone lookout balcony.
The tour will continue with a visit to the Santa Catalina Convent. Founded in 1579 as a cloister, in its early days the convent was home to a small group of clerigy who came from the local elite. Walk through its beautiful buildings as your guide takes you on a journey back in time through one of the largest holdings of colonial art in the Americas.
We will tour the Andean Sanctuaries Museum, which specializes in archeological exhibits. After watching an informational film, we will visit the various exhibition rooms where the different ceramics and textiles are displayed.
One of the most remarkable exhibits displays the mummified body of the Lady of Ampato, also known as Mummy Juanita *, who was found inside the Ampato volcano in September 1995, where she had rested for more than 500 years. The discovery of Juanita and other mummies in the nearby area confirms the theory of human sacrifices.

WED 13 AREQUIPA / COLCA

• Visit to Colca Valley (2 days / 1 night)
Departure at 08:00am going through the town of Yura, Pampa de Arrieros, Pampa Cañahuas, where the Vicunas National Reserve is located, Vizcachani, Torja with is cushion bogs, where you will find a wide variety of migratory birds all year. The trip continues through Chuccura and Patapampa, visiting the viewpoint of Volcanoes.
At 13:30 approximately, you will arrive to Chivay. Take a break for lunch and a little rest. Visit the market of Chivay and the Hot Springs of La Calera (no admission ticket included).

THU 14 COLCA / AREQUIPA
• Breakfast.
• Departure at 06:15am approximately to visit Cruz del Condor, where the depths of the canyon can be seen, which is considered to be deeper than the Colorado Canyon. In addition, you can appreciate the Majestic flight of the condors in their natural habitat. As you return, you will visit the towns of Macca and Yanque and its churches of colonial times. You will also visit the viewpoints of Wayra Punku, Antahuilque. You will arrive to Chivay.

FRI 15 AREQUIPA / CUSCO / SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS

• Visit to Pisac Market, Pisac Ruins, Ollantaytambo & buffet lunch
This morning, we will continue the trip toward Pisac, a beautiful place where Incan and Colonial influences have reached a perfect balance and created the unique way of life of the local inhabitants. We will get a chance to explore this quaint town, famous for its artisan markets where we can find extraordinarily fine jewelry and ceramic and textile craftwork. Few miles away, on the slopes of a mountain, which overlooks the Vilcanota River is the Archaeological Park of Pisac, where we will find andens of different areas and altitudes separate by architectural structures. The most notable of these is the solar calendar (INTIWATANA) that means, “Where the sun is tied”.
Finally, we will visit one of the last remaining Incan towns, Ollantaytambo, which was once fiercely guarded by a massive fortress. We will discover the large archaeological complex of what used to serve as a wayside inn for royal delegations on long journeys. Surviving structures here include multiple walls and towers that were used to protect the citadel from possible invasions.

SAT 16 SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS / CUSCO

• Visit to the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu & buffet lunch
This day, you will visit the Santuario Histórico de Machu Picchu (Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu). Aboard a comfortable train (Vistadome service), you will depart to the Aguas Calientes train Station, enjoying a spectacular view along the way.

Upon arrival, you will board a bus that will take you to the entrance gate of the Machu Picchu citadel.
Rediscovered by Hiram Bingham more than a century ago, Machu Picchu is considered one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Its architectural beauty, spectacular natural landscapes and the energy held in its enigmatic structures will take your breath away.
Follow in the footsteps of the ancient Incas as you explore this magical citadel along with the tour guide.
At the scheduled time, you will be assisted to take the return train (Vistadome service). Upon the arrival at the station, your private transfer service will be waiting to take you back to your hotel.

SUN 17 CUSCO

• (Morning) Cusco city tour & nearby ruins: Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puca-Pucara, Tambomachay, Cathedral & Qoricancha
At the scheduled time, we will pick you up from the hotel to begin the exploration to the nearby ruins: the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, a colossal structure of enormous stones, carved and fitted together with incredible precision; Qenqo, the religious center; we will enjoy a panoramic view of Puca-Pucara, the red fortress and then we will visit Tambomachay with their water fountains.
Afterwards, our tour continues in the Imperial City, we will stroll through the Main Square, where we will discover the Cathedral and admire its exquisite vestibules and priceless paintings from the Cusco School of the 17th and 18th centuries.
We will continue with a visit to one of the most impressive buildings of Incan Cusco: the Qoricancha (the Golden Temple) - a temple dedicated to the worship of the Sun God, whose interior walls were said to have been covered in gold.

TUE 19 LA PAZ / UYUNI

Visit to Inkawasi Island, this island has huge cacti, and its floor resembles fossilized algae. Visit the Little town of Colchani, visit the small salt factories, the ancient salt hotel, handicrafts

SUN 24 BUENOS AIRES (ARGENTINA)

• Buenos Aires City tour - Tigre Delta - Tango Show
• After breakfast enjoy a city tour visiting the most interesting places in Buenos Aires. We start off by having some time in Plaza de Mayo Square, then on to the Government House, the Metropolitan Cathedral, Mayo Avenue, the Congress Palace, the Colón Theatre (from outside),the Cabildo, La Boca neighbourhood and Palermo. After lunch the tour continues toward Tigre, an enchanting section located at the mouth of the delta of the Parana River. A ride in a boat on the Delta allows appreciation of the older mansions that contrast with the newerwooden houses of today, constructed on pilings to soften the effects of the constant river risings. The delta is integrated with a quantity of small islets covered with abundant subtropical vegetation and crossed by canals and rivulets. Later on, enjoy moments of rest in this ideal environment for contact with nature and fresh air, away from the bustle of the city. Late evening return to your hotel and then transfer to see a fantastic Tango show.

TUE 26 SAO PAULO / IGUAZU FALLS (Brasil side)

• 02:10hs Upon arrival, you will be met and taken to a hotel in the falls (please note due to shortage of accommodation near the falls we may have to be quite a distance from them. This all depends on early booking).

• In the afternoon, a short walk down to the viewing platforms takes you past jungle, wildlife and birds to get as close as possible to the Falls.

WED 27 IGUAZU FALLS (Argentina side)

• After breakfast, you visit the Argentinean side of the Falls. Board a small train in the heart of the National Park which takes passengers on a short train ride to the pathways and walkways which lead to the Devil’s Throat area of the Iguassu Falls. Here enjoy spectacular Views over the Falls area. After some free time return to your hotel.

THU 28 IGUAZU BIRD PARK / RIO DE JANEIRO / SUGAR LOAF
• This morning take tour to the Iguazu bird park. Later transfer for your flight to Rio (LA 4591 04:30pm-06:30pm). Today upon arrival into Rio you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel.

FRI 29 RIO DE JANEIRO

• Corcovado

Enjoy a half day tour of the city and its beaches and then on to Cosme Velho, where the modern cog-wheel train is boarded for a 20- minute ride to the top of the Corcovado (800M -2,400ft). The Christ the Redeemer statue is an important monument with its 40M height but the real spectacle is the 360 degrees view of the scenery below, encompassing city, bay, mountain and sea. Afternoon at leisure enjoying free time for shopping. Late evening, enjoy an Indian meal before returning to your hotel.

This afternoon you will continue to one of the most stunning landmarks of Rio de Janeiro, the Sugar Loaf Mountain. Reach the summit by enjoying a cable car ride. Overnight in Rio de Janeiro.

The day to relax. Late evening you get transferred to the Ginga show with Dinner. The show is a display of the Brazilian music tradition and the participants will have the opportunity to have a glimpse of the rich Carnival costumes and the contagious sound of the drums.
